Let’s have a look at couple of reasons why people do get Insomnia.
There are many causes, it can be because of brain function disorder, psychological problems like loss of a close or loved person.
Insomnia also can be caused by Cocaine, Caffeine, Stimulants, Steroids and many pharmacy treatments have side effects which includes – Insomnia.
People at age of 40 – 70 are in the high risk group. As when a person gets older, the person doesn’t need to sleep that long anymore, and the need of a sleep decreases. But if the person for all his life has slept 9 hours a day, then this habit is very hard to overcome. As he thinks he has to and is used to sleep 9 hours a day.
Also many people think that they have Insomnia, instead they have only poor sleep quality. This mostly occurs if a person can’t get in to the stage 4 of sleep, the Delta Stage. There are many things that doesn’t allow a person to enter the Stage 4 or Delta Stage, it’s maybe music, someone is talking, or there are many other factors that just disturbs you to get into the Stage 4 of Sleep.
Insomnia can also be caused by nightmares, sleep walking, full moon ( Yes the full moon has an enormous effect on our sleep).
Another high risk group are teens. As teens have many problems, their bodies are changing, and they have way more stress than they had when they were just kids, the stress mostly occurs because of the looks, for example “Will she like me”, or “Will she come out to date with me, if I still don’t have a car” and many other teenage problems, well you know, we all have came trough them, and none of us is an exception. As at the first start the teen can just get a bad sleep quality, because of the stress, as the teenager is worried about many things, when he is ready for sleep, and he thinks a lot about the things which he thinks may cause problems, and that increases the level of stress, which decreases the quality of sleep. And if you, someone else, or something disturbs you to get into the Stage 4 of sleep in a long-term period, then you have high risk to get Insomnia, which is way more harder to deal with.
Well these are the most common factors which can cause Insomnia. But there are way more, and more “in – deep” cases also, brain function problems, your body’s “bio clock” and many more.
