Well I had Insomnia for more than 2 years, and yes it is really awful. But hey I got rid of it, and so I am here to help you to decrease Insomnia or even get rid of it totally like I did !

So tips what I did to cure Insomnia.

  • I aired the room every evening before I went to bed, I don’t know why, but I was able to sleep better when I felt an cold breeze coming trough my window.
  • I know it sounds ridiculous but when I was airing my room, I left my pillow at the window, so it would get cold. It was easier for me to get in sleep if the pillow was cold.
  • Drunk one or two beers just before the bed, beer makes you lazy and sleepy. I have heard from other “Insomniacs” that also a glass or two of wine helps.
  • I smoked marijuana, it helped me to sleep, but as marijuana have really big and negative side effects, it wasn’t a solution for long – term. And you can get addicted to it, well I am already addicted to cigarettes, and now Marijuana ? No, thanks.
  • If you are able to, then go into a sauna before you go to bed. Sauna totally makes your body tired and exhausted. It did help me, but I am just a student, how the hell I can afford a house or an apartment with sauna in it? Well my friend did have it, so it did help, but I was not able to take Sauna every evening, so this was not an long – term solution also.

Well these are the tips which helped me to get a better sleep, but still, as I said in another article, the sound therapy helped me, and I felt in love with it.
